I bought this from a small business who use a natural tanning process less damaging to the environment. The depth and gloss of the deer hair and the range of colours is beautiful. The skins side is like heavy parchment, not very soft like an artificial fur rug. Would be lovely draped over a chair back or as a small fireside rug. I put it away as at the time I had a young kitten and didn’t want it to become prey! selling as I no longer need. If I find the information leaflet that came with it at the time I will include, can’t put my hands on it right now.
